n Sunday the 2nd of July, many orcs, trolls, forsaken and tauren gathered around the monument to Grom Hellscream in Ashenvale. The gathering started around 9:30 pm and lasted the best part of an hour. Its purpose was to honor the memory of the orc Grom Hellscream. He fought in the first war against the Scourge and died 6 years ago.

A feast was held. A story about Grom's life and history was spoken. People seemed to enjoy the evening. There were a few outbreaks of violence, both hand-to-hand and through spells, mostly towards nearby demons.

This event could be linked to the flying necropolis and the new threat from the Scourge, but it seems unlikely. There were no spells to try to resurrect Hellscream,

with most people content to let him rest in peace.

Events to honor Grom are set to continue throughout the week, and rest assured that the Azeroth Journal will bring you the latest news from all these events as they happen.
