Prove your worth as a photographer, and you'll receive not only a prize, but also the chance to speak in our next issue, and thus, become famous!

The photography which best depicts summer in Azeroth will be the winner!

THE PRIZES:

1st place: 20 gold, a golden pearl, and a Bouquet of White Roses.
2nd place: 10 gold, 5 jars of Rumsey Rum Black Label, and a Black Rose.
3rd place: 5 gold and a Red Rose.
All the winners get also a Leather Ball!

There will be a ceremony to hand the prizes, in August. We will keep you informed about the time and place.

THE RULES:

- No restrictions at all (Horde and Alliance both welcome).
- You can present as many photographs as you want.
- To enter the contest, you'll have to send 2 silver per photograph, to either Maud Doe (Alliance) or Trogar Kegnash (Horde), and you'll receive a confirmation letter.
- After that, you can register in our forum, and will be granted access to post your pictures in the contest section.
- To keep it fair, none of the members of our staff will be able to participate.
- The contest will be open from today, until July 31, when the jury will decide who has won.

OOC: Instructions to take pictures in WoW

First, you have to see in your screen what you want to show in the picture. Use the mousewheel to zoom in-out, for example.
In the Interface menu, there are options that will allow you to hide the names above characters, both NPCs and players.

To hide your user interface, press Alt+Z (and same, to show it again).

To take the screenshot, press the "Print Screen" key in your keyboard (it's usually the first key after the function ones -F1 to F12- in the upper row).

Now the screenshot is stored in your PC, but to use it, you'll have to "paste" it in any image editing application (for example, Microsoft Paint -for Windows users-).

To do this, press Alt+TAB to show your computer desktop, open the image editing application, and then press Ctr+V, this will put your screenshot on it.

Done! Now you can save the picture as you would do with any other one.
