Nobody knows yet what they are, but groups like Argent Dawn are investigating the issue. The human capital seems to be affected in a different way, since a weird darkness that obscures the sun has fallen upon the whole area, including the nearby forest of Elwynn.

Walking skeletons have been seen wandering inside the very cities, and though they don't seem aggressive, the local authorities recommend to destroy them due to the threat of infections.

At the same time, strange circles have appeared in several areas of the world. From time to time, undead horrors raise from them. We have requested the Royal Apothecary Society for their opinion on these, and we will publish their answer as soon as possible.

Many rumors speak of the Lich King's return, and a worldwide Scourge invasion. Refugees have started to arrive at the main capitals massively. People still remember what happened to the great Lordaeron, and fear the future, since nobody has found a cure, or at least, a vaccine, for the Plague yet.
