A study on the pyramid and runic circles outisde Stormwind

I have been studying the floating pyramid outside Stormwind and the four runic circles on the ground around it. Using special sensors, I have determined that there is a force field of arcane magic around it and I have made a map of what I think the force field. This map may be incorrect, as it is an interpretation of the data.

Like any other force field, it is strongest at the centre and weaker at the edge. It’s centre is located exactly under the large green crystal hanging from the pyramid. What makes this force field different than any other are the five vortexes. One is located in the centre and the other ones above each runic circle. A vortex usually has a direction. I believe the four vortexes over the circles have the same direction (down) and are used to bring down the creatures that appear from time to time. The centre vortex appears to have the opposite direction (up). I believe the centre vortex can be used to take an object or a living being up to the pyramid. However, just standing under the vortex is not enough to go up to the pyramid. Some spell or action known only to the inhabitants of the pyramid must be used to activate this process.

I am also convinced that the force field is used to keep the pyramid up. The force field we detect on the ground keeps the green crystal floating and a hypothetical force field created on the top side of the crystal pushes the pyramid up.

It is my conviction that destroying the green crystal will not only destroy the vortexes but will also cause the pyramid to fall down. With enough study we may also learn how to use the center vortex to enter the pyramid. This opens a few strategic possibilities on how to fight the scourge and how to destroy the pyramids.

I also recommend that no one remain under the force field for too long as it may cause sickness.
